By using MealBudget you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What MealBudget is

MealBudget generates suggested meal combinations and a consolidated grocery list based on a budget and household details you provide. It is a planning tool. It does not sell groceries, process grocery payments, or deliver food.

Prices are estimates

Every cost shown by MealBudget is an estimate, not a quoted price. Estimates are derived from U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics average food price data. They are national averages and will differ from what you pay, sometimes substantially, depending on your region, your store, store brands, promotions and seasonality. You should not rely on MealBudget estimates for any purpose where an exact figure matters. We make no warranty that any estimate will match your receipt.

Not nutritional or medical advice

Recipes, dietary tags and allergen labels are provided for general information only and are not nutritional, dietary or medical advice. If you have a food allergy or medical dietary requirement, always read the actual packaging of every item you buy. Ingredient formulations change and cross-contamination occurs during manufacture. Do not rely on MealBudget alone to keep an allergen out of your food.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate household and dietary information.
• Use the service lawfully and not attempt to disrupt or abuse it.
• Verify allergens and prices yourself before purchasing or cooking.

Availability

The service is provided “as is” and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MealBudget is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including any difference between an estimated cost and an amount you actually spend.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
