Sheet-Pan Margherita Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pizza dough
  • 14 oz pizza sauce
  • 10 oz shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 oz fresh basil
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 oz grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 475F and oil a rimmed sheet pan generously.

  2. Press the dough out to the corners, resting a few minutes whenever it springs back.

  3. Spread the sauce almost to the edges and sprinkle with garlic powder and salt.

  4. Scatter the mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over the top.

  5. Bake 18 to 20 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and the underside of the crust is browned.

  6. Tear basil over the hot pizza, drizzle with olive oil, and cut into squares.
